Tuesday, December 10, 2024:
Boost student engagement through the core concepts of computational thinking: decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking.
In this session, you’ll learn how to integrate these skills into your teaching, making complex concepts more accessible and engaging for students. Presenters including CSforALL’s SCRIPT Program Lead Joe Meléndez will share examples of activities as well as strategies to create your own to encourage students to break down problems, identify patterns, develop algorithms, and think like computer scientists, even without coding.
