AInspire is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to increase diversity in artificial intelligence (AI) by providing individuals of all backgrounds, ages, and genders a safe space to learn about AI and its applications.

We primarily operate through four main initiatives:

  • Synapshots: Short videos that shed light on a specific topic in AI. The goal of these videos is to get the viewers synapses firing about AI, hence the name Synapshots.
  • Workshops: We have developed a full suite of workshops which accomplish different objectives. Examples:
  • Early childhood exposure to AI in our AI + Art & Intro to AI + Biology workshops
  • Networking opportunities and career advice in our Speaker Series workshops
  • Technical skills (learning how to code machine learning models) in our AI + Bioinformatics and AI + Biotechnology workshops
  • Scientific reading comprehension skills in our Research Paper Breakdown workshops.
  • Contests: A chance for individuals of any age to learn by doing. All of our contests have awesome prizes (think money and swag!), judges, and learning opportunities.
  • Partnerships with School Districts: We provide free curriculums developed with the feedback of Stanford students to school districts looking to introduce their students to AI. Curriculums are completely customizable & made-to-order based on difficulty of content taught, target age-group, and duration. Curriculums can be implemented completely online, at an in-school STEM class, or as an after-school workshop series.

If you are an educator or student looking to learn more about AI by attending a workshop, entering a contest, or ordering our curriculum, please reach out to us at contact@ainspire.org.
