The C-STEM Computer Programming and Robotics Challenges seeks to inspire the next generation of innovative thinkers and computer science leaders. C-STEM challenges Pre K to 12th grade students to engage in experiential learning that is connected to the real-world, supports the application of STEM learning, advances communication and literacy skills, and increases self-confidence in STEM. C-STEM provides support services to ensure that students and teachers are successful and accountable to the work. Support is provided using a flexible service model that includes:

  • Curricula that requires the use of a hands-on, physical toolkit along with free and on-line computer programming training and tutorials.
  • Instructional materials, supplies, and resources to support equitable engagement with the computer programming and robotics curriculum.
  • The opportunity for teachers to earn 32 hours of professional development through the Integrated C-STEM Training Institute.
  • Customer service support to C-STEM teachers and students via phone, email, and live webinar sessions.
  • Access to STEMcast Podcasts with STEM professionals.
  • Access to the CSTEMbreak social media platform to create their STEM digital portfolio and to collaborate with other STEM students and teachers.
  • Access to the C-STEM Mobile App for Android and iPhone.
  • A national performative evaluation platform, The CSTEM Challenge, to gauge students responsiveness to the C-STEM curriculum.
