The California Department of Education is leading the development of California Computer Science Standards. This work is part of our vision to promote STEM and 21st Century learning in our state. California has been a leader in the technology industry and it is our goal to continue be a leader in STEM education. We value the wisdom and creativity of the 11,000 plus local educational agencies and consider our department to be a clearing house of the results of their work.
