The Byte-Sized challenge consists of 16 - 40 minute lessons, which can be delivered over 10 weeks, directly in the classroom. The Byte-Sized challenge is structured where you can teach all 16 lessons in 3 weeks or 2 lessons per week in the 10 week timeframe. It really is up to you!
The challenge focuses on supporting creative computing opportunities by drawing on student creativity, imagination, and interests to support personal connections to computing.
Throughout the challenge, students will gain technical experience with the Micro:bit. They will apply this knowledge to their design challenge where they will brainstorm and prototype a solution to a Global Goal present in their community.
