girls + data is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that teaches about data science and analytics who are interested in STEM, but not necessarily computer science or software engineering.
To date girls + data has provided hands-on instruction in data science and data analytics to nearly 450 middle school girls in 13 cities at 16 events with more to come.
We know our programs are needed and working because 80% of these students have said they want to attend a second event with different topics in data science and analytics, and 80% of the students also report an increased interest in learning MORE about careers in data science and analytics as a result of attending one of our events.
