Lincoln Public Schools provides CS courses to nearly 41,000 students in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are a K-5 Code.org partner district and a member of the League of Innovative Schools. We are committed to making CS education available to all of our students, and to increasing the enrollment of young women and minorities in our CS courses. Our Computer Science classrooms are active places that encourage exploration, creativity, collaboration, communication, persistence, and problem solving. We want to spark students’ curiosity about what can be created with various technology tools. We are guided by the four P’s: Projects, Peers, Passion, and Play (Resnick and Siegel).
