Silicon Valley Education Foundation serves the 50+ school districts in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties in the Bay Area to advance STEM education. We are a Regional Professional Learning Partner for CS K12 with Code.org working to identify Computer Science needs, plans, partnerships, and the implementation of CS curriculum through advocacy and professional learning.
SVEF’s Computer Science Institute (CSI) program piloted in 2019, provides learning experiences to communities furthest from opportunity by introducing the foundations of computer science through the lens of making and design thinking in order to promote the continued pursuit of computer science learning in the future.
