Teaching Things, Inc. (formerly Teq, Inc.), is an educational technology company that provides innovative instructional strategies and kinesthetic professional learning experiences that improve pedagogical practice, enhance engagement, and boost achievement for the entire learning community – teachers, instructional support staff, administrators, and even parents/families. We are committed to supporting educators through our unique blend of technology-focused professional development (PD) and adaptable project-based learning focused on Computer Science and STEM/STEAM. Our offerings and support for CS4All initiatives is steadily evolving in response to the need for more meaningful learning experiences that fuse instructional pedagogical practices with technology integration. Teaching Things also includes OTIS for Educators, our online learning platform; Onsite PD, our customizable onsite and/or virtual professional learning experiences – mentoring, coaching, and workshops; and iBlocks(Instructional Blocks), project-based learning for the 21st century classroom. Always at the forefront of the changing landscape of education, Teaching Things, Inc. goes above and beyond to create and deliver instructional content that inspires every corner of the educational environment whether working in schools and classrooms or remotely. Teaching Things, Inc.’s professional learning team is comprised of state-certified teachers, all with years of classroom experience. Team members are SMART Certified Trainers, Google Certified Educators, Microsoft Innovative Educators, and each have their own area(s) of expertise including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, STEM/STEAM, ENL/ELL, Special Education, Computer Science, and more.
