Basehor-Linwood School District is a 1:1 district in grades 6-12 and values integrating technology into our classrooms to provide 21st Century opportunities for our students. Our district offers our K-5 students computational thinking experiences through code.org and other coding experiences in our classrooms. We offer computer programming for our Middle School students in our computer class and are implementing Swift Playground this year. Our high school offers computer programming and PLTW CS as well as a Informational Services & Support Class for our students in the CTE Pathways. We have created a MakerSpace called Bobcat iStudio where students K-12 are given the opportunity to use Dot and Dash, Osmo Coding, building computers and creating apps as well as other STEM opportunities for our students. We are passionate about providing each student the opportunity to be a part of computer science experiences and are honored to be a part of a team to create this opportunity for students in every school in the United States.
