Has your district led efforts to promote equitable computer science education?
The Equitable Computer Science District Learning Cohort is a new initiative by CSforALL to support leading districts to surface and share best practices around scaling equitable Computer Science education.
With support from Google’s CS-Education Research program, the Equitable Computer Science District Learning Cohort will bring together school districts that have made dedicated efforts to bring equitable Computer Science education (CSed) to their students. Part learning network, part research study, eight participating districts will have an opportunity to gather to share best practices and emerging challenges around equitable CSed. Specifically, we’ll focus on what it looks like to implement equitable CSed at scale within school districts - exploring efforts to foster professional learning, select or develop curriculum, and engage in leadership practices that promote systems change around equity in computer science education.
