Finding a Home for Computer Science in Schools of Education
The Finding a Home for CS in Schools of Education project brings together computer science education researchers, leaders from large departments of education, teacher education researchers, and computer scientists in a series of workshops to answer critical questions regarding the implementation of computing education.
Through a community workshop in the spring of 2017, and a report released in April of 2018, the project seeks to describe existing models of computer science education in schools of education and offer recommendations to assist post-secondary institutions in the creation of computer science teacher preparation programs.
