Awarded a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Engineering (through research), Cornelia completed her PhD at the University of Limerick in programming, pedagogy and educational psychology.
Cornelia established Irelands’ first initial teacher education programme for CS teachers at NUI Galway. Her research interests centre principally on STEM education, with a particular emphasis on the Technology (T) aspect of STEM, Computer Science Education and education design research.
