Professor at the Graduate Department of the College of Education at the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras. One of the state leaders of PR with ECEP since 2015. Some of the most recent NSF funded research project are: 1) Pi Ancestral Computing for Sustainabilty (exploring ancestral knowledge of women of color studying computing); 2) Co-Pi ECSforPR Research Practice Partnership (Implementation of Exploring Computer Science curriculum in spanish); and Co-Pi REMEZCLA (cultural sustaining pedagogy using EARSKETCH platform for Latinx students)
