After a few years in the classroom as a science teacher, I earned my Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership from University of Maryland, College Park. I have worked on several projects focused on creating research-practitioner partnerships to develop and integrate innovative technologies in K-12 learning environments. The past several years I have explored how to design and implement professional learning experiences that encourage teachers to integrate computational thinking practices in authentic, equitable, and sustainable ways.
