Paige Prescott

Paige Prescott has been involved in STEM education for over twenty years. She has been a classroom science teacher and a curriculum and professional development designer for computer science in science lessons. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of New Mexico in the Organization, Information and Learning Sciences department where she is interested in design experiences for both adults and students as they relate to learning computer science and computational thinking. She is specifically interested in aspects of computer science education research that will enhance our understanding of how to increase the engagement of underrepresented groups in computer science. She regularly conducts teacher professional development for teachers new to computer science and advocates for computer science education policy for New Mexico.
