Pati Ruiz is a researcher with the Learning Sciences Research team at Digital Promise Global. Prior to joining Digital Promise, Pati spent 16 years as a high school computer science teacher, Spanish teacher, and K–12 administrator. Pati supports two RPPforCS projects: CT Pathways and Tough As Nails. Her work focuses on supporting the project teams as they develop vertically aligned computer science and computational thinking pathways. Pati has also helped design online learning experiences for computing and information technology faculty focused on diversifying undergraduate computing programs and is interested in efforts to broaden participation in computing.
