I conduct research at the macro-level in CS Education, investigating how capacity is built to broaden participation in computing at the institutional level, the community-level, and at the nationwide network level. I apply mixed methods in my research, and participate in both a research practice partnership to expand access and participation to Black and Hispanic students in Tennessee as well as a BPC Alliance organized around a field catalyst framework. My research encompasses both full K-12 pathways and linkages between inschool learning, out of school learning, and other community resources.
