I Represent an organization hosting an Hour of AI Event
The Hour of AI is a global campaign that empowers companies and communities to explore artificial intelligence in accessible, engaging ways. It’s about giving people the chance to learn what AI is, how it works, and why it matters — no expertise required. This guide shows you how to bring the Hour of AI to your workplace or community through events, workshops, or hands-on activities.

1. Register your event
Start by registering your Hour of AI event. Registration helps us track impact and your organization may even be featured on our website! You’ll also receive helpful tips, updates, and exclusive resources to make your event a success.

2. Choose your focus
Bring the Hour of AI to life in your own way! You can:
Lead one of our engaging, age-appropriate AI activities — perfect for students, educators, community members, and adults in your organization
Create your own event, such as a panel discussion, an AI-focused professional development session, or something entirely unique
Combine both approaches for maximum impact
No matter your format, you’ll have access to creative projects, hands-on activities, and a ready-to-use presentation deck template to introduce the Hour of AI and build excitement — no AI experience required.
The Hour of AI activities catalog will go live on November 12, featuring themes that range from music and dance to games and pop culture. There’s something for every age and interest, whether you’re working with devices or going unplugged.
3. Plan your format
Host your event in a way that best fits your audience:
Virtual or in-person
For students, educators, your organization, or the broader community
During CSEdWeek (Dec. 8–14) or another time that works for you
Invite your employees to participate in your event (see the Volunteering Guide for tips)
Use the resource page to help you promote your event
4. Spread the word and build excitement
When you register your event, it may be featured on our website — helping your organization shine while inspiring others to get involved.
Promote your event and invite educators, colleagues, families, and community leaders to attend or co-host. Share the opportunity through newsletters, social media, and local networks to build momentum and maximize your impact.
5. Host your event and inspire continued learning
Celebrate your event with a shout-out! Share photos using #HourOfAI and tag @CSforALL to highlight your efforts.

From the Hour of Code to the Hour of AI
You might be asked how the Hour of AI connects to the Hour of Code. Here are a few ways to explain it:
The Hour of Code helped show that anyone can learn computer science. The Hour of AI does the same thing for artificial intelligence — showing that anyone can learn about AI, too.
Just like the Hour of Code made coding less intimidating, the Hour of AI helps students go from just using AI tools to understanding how they work — and how they can shape the future responsibly.
The Hour of Code built a global community around computer science education. The Hour of AI builds on that momentum, extending the mission to include AI education for both students and adults.
